  2. Jealousy </3

    Someone I know just got engaged, and I’m super excited for her.  But I can’t help but feel really really jealous…it should be mine…I should be the one planning a wedding and a bridal shower with the perfect guy. Instead I am almost FIVE YEARS into my relationship and I love him and I know he is the one, but I can’t help but feel like it will never happen…I want to marry him and spend the rest of my life with him, but sometimes even tho he is three years older than me he can act like he is ten years younger than me, and EVERY time I see something about this girl and her future husband and wedding throws me for this loop and I can’t stop thinking about everything she has and everything that I don’t and wish I did…

    Please meet Landon.. his dad Marine LCPL Carpenter made the ultimate sacrifice while serving with the 3/8 in Afghanistan earlier this year.. a month before his son was born. Never forget the price of freedom.

    I don’t care what kind of blog I am, or what kind of blog you are, I saw this and it broke my heart, a little boy who will never get to meet his daddy, and daddy who never had the joy and honor of holding his child because he gave his life to keep all of us safe.
